Software requirements Computer with Internet access and check for online system requirements at https://www.csn.edu/online-registration This is also a valuable link for the students who are using the online system for the first time. You will be required to install free software such as Visual Studio 2017 and download student data files on your computer in order to complete the course work. Please check to see the system requirements.and download the software by clicking here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/install/install-visual-studio?view=vs-2019. Instructions for Mac Users Visual studio will not run on Mac OS. However, you do not have to give up your Mac to be able to use visual studio. You can follow one of the two approaches to run visual studio on Mac.
- Use Bootcamp https://support.apple.com/boot-camp. to install windows on a separate hard drive partition. This will make your Mac a dual boot device. You can either boot into Mac OS or into Windows OS, at startup, but not both. If you want a free copy of windows 7 or windows 8, you can download it from Microsoft Imagine Software program mentioned below in this syllabus.
- Use virtualization software, like parallels, and create a virtual windows machine within the Mac OS environment. This will allow you to switch back and forth between Mac OS and Windows OS.
Once you have the windows OS installed, install Visual Studio and run as any other Windows software.
Measurement of Objectives:

You will know you are meeting the course objectives stated above as you successfully.

  • complete assignments that teach and reinforce the skills and techniques covered in the course,
  • log in canvas and participate in classroom activities,
